Opened three years ago by a team of three – Pedro, Maya and Jean Michel – the relaxed restaurant has a reputation among locals and boasts a crowd of regular customers – a good sign for any restaurant. Pedro and Jean Michel have a mixed background in hospitality – working together in some of London’s top restaurants, and they also share a French heritage, with Pedro French-Brazilian and Jean Michel French-Caribbean. Each of the team bring something different, with Maya heading up the interiors and events, while Jean Michel is the host. The face of Miz en Bouche, Jean-Michel’s charm and charisma has been known to have customers following him from previous restaurants he’s worked at.
